Home.
Nothing like it, and this one is no exception!
I have tried to create something unique yet minimal as everyone else goes overboard with their portfolios, I'd like to say my nan could navigate this one, with ease.

So anyway let me talk you through the main layout...

Menu -

This was a small standalone menu project that was started with a colleuge talking about google and their updated bar at the top of google pages, and then it hit me. Have a top border on each element and then have a window to see the different borders. Later I tweaked with a mouse off effect. This tasty effect uses JQuery.

Header Image -

When initially thinking about the design for a portfolio I thought, what picture would be best for awe? and general attractivness. I turned to nature. I had previously been driving near my house(Wychbold) when an amazing sunset shone across onto me. Two thoughts crossed my mind in this order:

 That is one amazing sunset!
I have the camera in my boot.

I then used the lovely photoshop 'photomerge' tool to complete the job. I kept the camera in my car and over the next few weeks got some cool shots at different times of the day, all then using the photomerge feautre.

Main body and Background -

I decided to use a simple layout as all I wanted to do was show you my work in a certain order, not invite you to follow me on twitter, facebook, bebo, myspace, read my other 15 blogs etc. Following this theme the page draws your eyes directly to the centre and for the moment anyway explains the simple boring background.
